We are looking for an enthusiastic and numerically minded graduate to join the Rating team within the Pricing and Analytics area of our multi-award-winning business at its global headquarters in the centre of Cardiff.

The Rating team is responsible for maintaining the rating engine for our Personal Lines Motor and Household products such as Car, Van, Home, and Landlord Insurance. We work closely with our Pricing and Analytics areas to understand their requirements and ensure that we carry out changes in a timely fashion. Our role is crucial in ensuring the customer journey is not affected.
Based within one of the Rating Teams, you will spend most of your time making changes to our rating structure using a software package called Ratabase. You will be part of a team that are responsible for ensuring that required changes to our rating structure are implemented correctly and the appropriate amount of testing is completed.
As your system knowledge grows, you will be expected to take on further responsibilities and become independent when carrying out investigation, building and testing of increasingly complex changes.

Thanks to the culture and structure of our business, the skills and experience available in our Rating team would be transferable to other departments as we grow our product portfolio.
