At Capital One, we're on a mission to change banking for good. You might think of us as a credit card provider. But we're a financial services company with technology at the heart of our business.
Diversity is more than ethnicities, genders, disabilities… it’s about recognising that everyone has a unique perspective.
We look at credit the way tech companies look at everything – thinking of better, smarter and easier ways to do things that will really change the way people live. One of the happy consequences of making finance easier for our customers is that it makes Capital One an inspiring place to launch your career.
We are committed to creating a level playing field and seek to create teams that are representative of our customers and the communities we serve. We’d love to hear from you if you identify with an under-represented group in our industry and are particularly keen to hear from women, the LGBTQ+ community and ethnic minority candidates.
At Capital One, we’re always looking at ways to boost our business and give our customers a better experience. Join us for 10 weeks as a Strategy Analyst Intern and you’ll take a bird’s eye view of our business, and help us find new ways to improve every aspect of what we do. Expect to take on real projects with support from a team buddy, a programme mentor and excellent training. You’ll even get to meet our CEO, Lucy Hagues.
You need to be in your penultimate year in any university degree subject with strong maths skills and a knack for solving problems creatively. You need to work well with others, but you’ll also be focused on growth and development – yours and ours.
This is an intern position based in either our Nottingham or London offices. We’ve adopted a flexible hybrid working model - one that creates the opportunity to work both remotely and in our offices, which provide great spaces for in-person collaboration.
Our core office days are Tuesday to Thursday, but the number of days you actually spend in the office will be led by your team, the work you’re doing and your preferences. Many of our associates have flexible working patterns, so we’re open to discuss flexible working arrangements with you.
We've signed the Gradcracker feedback pledge.
(This means that we will supply feedback if requested after an interview.)
