As the GRAHAM business continues to grow and develop, we are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager for our Interior Fit Out business. The successful candidate will work on project(s) for out Interior Fit Out providing support to our existing Site Management Team.

As a Project Manager, you will be working under one of our experienced Project Managers to assist in overseeing different aspects of our projects while developing your own understanding. The suitable candidate will be working towards a construction related degree and will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and be able to work as part of a team.
The Project Manager roles and responsibilities include:
Report to the Project Manager regularly and assist in the daily running of the site.
Acceptance, implantation, and maintenance of the GRAHAM way of working
Implementation of Company Policy and Guidelines
Ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental legislation is adhered to through communication to GRAHAM staff and sub-contractors.
Assist the PM with forward planning of the work on site.
Regularly liaise with project stakeholders, consultants and members of the GRAHAM project team.
Assist with the development the quality plan for the project.
Provide administrative support and information recording.
Assist with supporting coordination between the GRAHAM team, consultants and trades.
Assist with the developing the strategy of project execution to meet the project targets
Assisting the PM with the Issuing, monitoring, and updating the Master Information Release Schedule
Planning and monitoring the progress of the works
Attending the weekly internal progress meeting
Contribute to procurement schedule is updated in line with programme
Servicing of plant, labour & materials
Establishing and maintaining systems for managing site staff and welfare facilities
Maintenance of good industrial relations on the project
Other duties as directed by the Contracts Director
This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for Project Manager and the range of duties to be undertaken.
It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.
Studying towards Construction Management / Project Management to degree level at university or technical college
Demonstrate an understanding of construction management practices
Demonstrate strong communication skills
Health & Safety Induction Including Management System CSR/SAFEPASS/CSCS Card
Commercial Awareness: relevant to the position applied for and understanding of why commercial awareness and business acumen are related and how these combine to meet customer needs and GRAHAM business requirements.
Leadership skills: Communicates well and shows commitment to work as part of a fully integrated team.
Effective Communication skills: Able to adapt communication to audience and create detailed written documents and reports under supervision. Able to maintain and manage communication links with a variety of stakeholders. Presents a professional image and promotes the Brand.
Customer Focus: Takes time to question and understand why customer needs are important and wants to forge ongoing sustainable links with customers to act in theirs and the businesses long term interest.
Influencing: Identifies and builds relationships with those who will be useful now and in the future in achieving strategic business objectives.
