Job description

Join an expanding team that provides engineering modelling consultancy services to a wide range of clients and industries.

The focus of this role is to specify and develop mathematical models of physical systems. A wide range of application areas are anticipated.

The role will involve supporting projects from initiation to delivery, including:

  • Liaising with clients to define requirements for models and analysis.
  • The design and development of mathematical models and software solutions.
  • Running models developed for analysis and understanding the impact of the outputs in the context of the client's organisation.
  • Delivering models or results from models to meet clients' requirements.
  • Project management.

The development of the above skills and competencies will be well supported.


You will have a strong understanding of engineering principles and a passion for mathematical model development in an engineering and/or physical sciences context.


You will possess, or be on track for, a good degree in Engineering or Engineering Mathematics, and have demonstrated mathematical modelling aptitude and capability as part of your project work or through other experience or you will possess, or be on track for, a good degree in Mathematics or a Science subject and have applied mathematical modelling to an engineering or physical sciences related discipline.
