Job Description

When you join Frazer-Nash, you'll be posed some big questions.

‘are you up for a challenge?’,

‘are you comfortable in dealing with issues that aren't always absolutes?’,

‘can you find your way in the grey areas between theory and practice?’

All the while delivering the solutions that make sense for our clients and our business? The thing you have to ask yourself is...

if these are the questions, could you be the answer?

"The summer internships are a really good opportunity to learn a wide range of areas of engineering."

"I have felt really inclusive and like i am doing stuff that's helpful."

If you want to find out exactly how business and engineering go together and gain some invaluable real-world experience at the same time, consider a summer internship. You’ll work on live projects alongside experienced engineers, contributing as much to our business as you learn from it. If you have the opportunity to work for us over 2 summers we can consider you coming back, staying in the same team or working in another area to broaden your knowledge. We have opportunities for students studying a wide range of subjects so please visit our apply here section to find out more.

We are looking for students who want to work at the end of their 2nd year of a 3 year degree course, 2nd and 3rd year of a 4 year degree (and equivalent for a 5 year degree) as well as those students completing their undergraduate degree before starting their MSc. Unfortunately we do not offer graduates a summer placement.

We are interested in hearing from excellent candidates who want to work in Digital Engineering. You may have relevant experience from University courses that are similar any on the following list:

  • Systems Engineering
  • Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering
  • Marine Engineering
  • Naval Architecture
  • Environmental Engineering
  • General Engineering
  • Project Management.

The nature of our work means that we sometimes require staff to access Government material, it is therefore necessary for all of our employees to gain appropriate security clearance. We will apply for clearance if you have successfully been selected for a position, and we will decide if we can successfully gain full clearance on your behalf based on the content of your application. Any offer of employment is subject to this requirement being met.

How to Apply

Applications will be considered at time of receipt so we encourage early applications. The closing date for this role is Friday 13th December 2019.
