What could I be doing? 

Our graduate programme is designed to give ambitious and talented graduates across a range of disciplines, an incredible opportunity to develop a unique foundation for professional, personal and career development within the power and energy sector. 

As a new graduate we will support your personal and professional development to help you drive your career forward and make sure you realise your full potential. Depending on your chosen field and preference for the type of role(s) you are interested in pursuing, you will gain experience by taking part in activities such as: 

  • Delivering a diverse range of consultancy projects supporting the transition to net zero 
  • Supporting Product Managers in the commercial development of our propositions  
  • Using a variety of engineering software packages to develop new products 
  • Providing science and engineering support to the energy sector 
  • Gaining first-hand experience within power substations and operational environments 
  • Working with commercial and product teams to launch our products in new countries   
  • Acquiring exposure to strategy development in a high growth environment 
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the European energy sector 
  • Participating in extensive business and technical training with your peers 
  • Pursuing professional accreditation (Chartership or otherwise) with full support 

Who are we looking for? 

  • A real passion for working in the Energy sector 
  • A 2:1 or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines 
  • The confidence to work on your own initiative and lead and work as part of multi-disciplinary teams 
  • Excellent communicator with a keen attention to detail and preferably A-Level/Highers in STEM subjects at Grade C or above or equivalent 
  • Ability to apply technical or commercial knowledge to proactively analyse problems, make sound decisions and create innovative solutions 
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to manage and analyse complex data sets 
  • Ambition, vision, enthusiasm and the drive to keep on learning
