What could I be doing?

Dive into the energy sector with EA Technology's Summer Internship Program, tailored for STEM students seeking a real-world challenge. Over 6-8 weeks, you'll gain hands-on experience within one of our teams, working on impactful projects and even taking the lead on your own initiative.

Potential projects you’ll be involved in include:

  • Integration of fleet status, of our network monitoring devices, within our cloud database
  • Automation of monitoring service procedures
  • Automation of steps to our industry leading techno-economic modelling tool 
  • Development of Key Account dashboards on our CRM system
  • Investigation of how AI can be used to aid our commercial activities
  • Preparing detailed market research into international smart grid markets
  • Creating CBA studies with product management to inform pricing strategy of future products

With a focus on analytical skills, teamwork, and individual drive, our program offers a unique blend of mentorship and practical exposure to help you navigate and contribute to the energy industry.

Who are we looking for?

  • A real passion for working in the Energy sector
  • Third or Fourth year in a STEM degree program
  • The confidence to work on your own initiative and lead and work as part of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to manage and analyse complex data sets
  • Excellent communicator with a keen attention to detail 
  • Ambition, vision, enthusiasm and the drive to keep on learning
