What you can expect:

  • Plant operation and commissioning support at Synthomer manufacturing sites.

Our Graduate Programme includes one or more assignments to company locations. As a chemical engineer, you will be involved in the design and development of a diverse range of products. The role requires high caliber, professional chemical engineering talent to maintain an effective balance of managerial, technical and commercial skills and knowledge to satisfy the business’s current and future needs. Typical work includes:

Job description:

  • Completed a master’s degree in engineering with at least a 2:1 grade.
  • Either completed a 12-month student placement scheme with Synthomer or;
  • Have 2-3 years relevant industrial experience.
  • Have an understanding of engineering principles.
  • An aptitude for, and interest in chemistry • Project management skills
  • Strong communication skills and team
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability • Good Office/ SAP-knowledge
