Business Operations is comprised of 7 different functions, spread across 40+ offices globally, totaling 3,000+ employees. The group is responsible for all information required for the end to end investment management process, providing operational support to BlackRock’s portfolio management teams and client groups globally.
The group also manages the day-to-day relationships with external service providers (i.e. banks, data/index suppliers), ensuring that we leverage our relationships effectively.
This programme is for candidates in their final year of study and obtaining their bachelor’s degree or their master’s degree with less than 18 months' relevant full-time work experience.
The Analyst Programme is a two-year programme designed to acclimate and train new hires. It also provides the foundation for core professional skills that will allow them to succeed in their roles and begin building their peer networks.
The programme begins with a Global Analyst orientation in New York which helps to build a knowledge base, prepares analysts for their role at BlackRock and creates a peer network. Analysts will hear from a number of senior leaders and market experts on a variety of topics including business fundamentals, BlackRock’s culture, strategic priorities, and leadership principles. You will participate in activities that will illustrate the importance of diversity, professionalism and what it means to be a fiduciary as well as having more role-specific training.
