The Analyst Programme is for candidates who have graduated or will be graduating from a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme between July 2022 - July 2023.

The Analyst Programme is a multi-year experiential journey designed to empower and support Analysts in connecting their personal passions and strengths to BlackRock’s mission, principles and purpose. The programme begins with an orientation to learn about our purpose, business and strategic priorities – all while gaining insights into the day-to-day life of an Analyst at BlackRock.

Following orientation, Analysts join their team and stay connected with colleagues across the globe through ongoing training and professional development. Software Engineering

We build products and services to meet the needs of BlackRock and our clients. Our fintech culture and solutions help distinguish BlackRock as an industry leader in both asset management and cutting-edge technologies. The team is made up of software engineers, data scientists, data engineers, quant developers, DevOps engineers, product managers, business analysts, UX engineers, UX designers and more, all working to drive innovation in the financial services industry.

What will you do as an analyst?

  • Take ownership of projects and watch your creations be released to thousands of users
  • Work closely with senior engineers developing specific parts of the Aladdin platform
  • Collaborate with users and the product team to design new features
  • Gain a broad understanding of the investment process and the capabilities of Aladdin
  • Collaborate with colleagues to build innovative products during firm-wide hackathons
  • Meet smart, fun people through volunteering, employee and professional networks, and every-day interactions

What capabilities are we looking for?

  • Intermediate programming skills in an OO language (e.g., Java, Python or JavaScript)

Your learning & development will include:

  • As part of the analyst programme, you will participate in four 6-month assignments across various technology streams during a two-year rotational programme, providing a breadth of experiences to teams, technologies and businesses.
  • During the summer internship programme, you will work within one technology stream while gaining wider exposure through networking, social events and project work.
