As one of our BIM Technicians, you’ll work as part of an award-winning multidisciplinary team, delivering world-class design solutions using leading edge and revolutionary techniques. You will work across mechanical, electrical and public health engineering to coordinate projects in BIM specifically using the software Revit.

Creative Technologies

Bryden Wood's Creative Technologies team was set up in 2018 to focus on automating design. The team, comprised of 96% of architects and engineers, won the AJ100 Awards in 2019 for Best Use of Technology for their Seismic and Prism Apps as well as their work for Highways England on the Smart Motorway Programme.

You will have the following skills/attributes:

  • Have an appreciation of construction and building services.
  • Knowledge of IES VE, Revit or Navisworks would be advantageous
  • Demonstrate an understanding of modern programming languages such as python, VB or C#. Preference for those with experience in parametric modelling techniques including dynamo or python.
  • Working towards graduating in 2020 or recently graduated
  • A minimum of a 2:1 BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons) Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Strong Communication Skills & Ability to Work Collaboratively
  • Team Player
  • Desire to innovate and solve problems
  • Naturally inquisitive and self motivated
