This role supports the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Transformation Manager, the HSE Senior Leadership Team and all of Centrica’s business units internationally in helping make IFW achievable.
Degree subject and specialism are less important than a real interest and enthusiasm in helping us lead this important change to the way we do things.

Day to day, the role will:
Research and analyse records, feedback and statistics to provide persuasive evidence to groups, up to and including the Corporate Executive Committee and the Board, of how Centrica performs from a safety perspective.
Work with the HSE Transformation Manager to deliver budget, HR and performance data for the HSE function.
Work with individual business units to help deliver and improve targeted assistance that will help make IFW a reality in their areas. This will include helping to organise, co-ordinate and facilitate work delivered by our specialist consultant supporters to let business units develop plans, strategies and methods that allow them to work towards IFW.
Work with HR, communications and Learning and Development colleagues to help lead the building of a coherent and strong culture that will allow us to provide excellent customer and operational outputs, without harm to our colleagues, our customers and the environment.
Help co-ordinate the teams working up novel and targeted ways of tackling behavioural safety issues.

Applicants must be currently in tertiary education, which will continue after the placement year.
