Amit has over 17 years of experience in technology consulting with a focus around client issues such as fraud, data theft, intellectual property, financial crime. Amit is the only digital forensics expert from India in the Who’s Who of Legal list of experts. Amit covers a wide range of areas covering digital forensics, ediscovery, cyber, analytics, software license compliance, and automation.
Amit has created market leading solutions for unique issues such as pharma data integrity, anti money laundry and fraud monitoring, data theft diagnostics, software license cost optimisation and compliance, rapid ediscovery, and has served clients in over 20 countries. He has presented evidence as an expert witness in overseas courts. His experience spans multiple industry sectors, most notably financial services, pharma, technology and media, and entertainment.
Before joining Ankura, Amit was a senior managing director and India head of technology for a large consulting firm based in Mumbai. Prior to that, Amit has spent 14 years at Big 4s which includes five years at in forensic services and more recently nine years as a partner and head of forensic technology. Amit started his career with a boutique cybersecurity consulting company where he led some high profile matters including the deployment of terrorism monitoring over the internet for the Indian Army.
