Our Summer Internships offer high calibre individuals the opportunity to experience work and life at Ankura and gain a valuable insight into our business and culture. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals on live and interesting client projects. You will be doing real work with real clients so be prepared to get stuck in.

Cyber Security & Privacy Practice:

Ankura’s Cybersecurity & Privacy practice is part of the Data & Technology Business, and forms three distinct teams, Reactive (Incident Response), Proactive (penetration testing, security assessments, and GRC), and Data Privacy (jurisdictional regulation compliance assurance). We deal with some of the most urgent issues facing businesses today. We help organisations from all sectors operate securely in the digital world. Our specialist advisors help clients reduce their exposure to threats, improve their defences and respond to cyber incidents. We also help our clients address the legal issues around breaches, data protection and privacy and implement a culture and environment where people understand how to behave securely and do the right thing.

It’s a vast and complex field that involves everything from cyber security strategy and technical design, implementing effective security solutions and processes, to responding to cyber incidents and breaches.

  • Please submit an up to date CV and state the year you will be graduating ie.2022 or 2023:
  • Please attach an example of your written work which you have produced as part of your degree course. This could be an assignment or research paper which demonstrates your critical thinking.
  • Please attach a Cover letter and: -
    • in no more than 300 words please outline your reasons for wanting a career in cyber consulting.

What you’ll gain

You could secure a graduate job offer for September 2022 or 2023.  And you’ll certainly raise your commercial awareness and interpersonal skills to new levels. By experiencing life inside one of the world’s fast-growing firms, you’ll develop many new skills and qualities that will be valuable whatever you choose to do.

The duration of the internship is 10 weeks from June to August.

*Should the pandemic continue, and under government guidelines, the internship programme may be adjusted. 

Requirements

  • You’ll with need to be studying a qualification in Cyber Security, or Digital Forensics, Computer Science, ITMB, Data Analytics and will be available to join our Graduate Programme in September 2022 or September 2023. 
  • And have demonstrable passion for Cyber Security
