The Role
NSG Group
The NSG Group is one of the world's largest manufacturers of glass and glazing products for the architectural, automotive and technical glass sectors.
You will be a key member of our Intelligent Manufacturing Systems team, working in an agile environment on the development, roll-out and support of the NSG Group global Manufacturing Execution System.
The role is based at our European Technical Centre with opportunities for occasional global travel for short periods of time.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Development – designing applications from start to finish, including coding, testing, debugging, documenting and installing applications
Change Management – taking ownership when developing new features, from design to delivery across all levels of the technology stack
‘hack time’ – investigating new cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies, expanding knowledge, and prototyping new ideas and features for side-projects

Programming experience in any of the following: C#, ASP.Net MVC/Web API, JavaScript – particularly React, HTML & CSS
Knowledge of, and interest in, database development & administration, especially SQL Server, would be advantageous
