How did you get started at Content Guru?

I joined as a graduate engineer. One thing I loved about the role was how much responsibility I got early on – I worked with the CEO on client visits and when a gap appeared for the position of Project Manager, I was eager to challenge myself and take it, around five years before I’d hoped to move into the role! The Project Manager role was very broad and I worked on all aspects of the customer lifecycle, from engineering to demonstrating our value to our customers.

What’s the difference between now and then?

As Content Guru started expanding, the roles have become more specialised and I became the Product Director, leading the Product Team to meet customer needs, work with leading industry analysts to identify gaps in global strategy, roadmap new products, and run innovation sessions.

I enjoy interacting with customers and learning about their challenges. I still use my graduate expertise and technical background when working towards solutions. I’m also able to drive innovation by working with cutting-edge technologies to give our products the competitive edge.

What do you love about your role?

One of the highlights of working at Content Guru is the chance to work with an ever-changing, evergreen product with lots of potential. We are always working to improve the customer experience. I’m excited about some of the latest developments in AI, and it is great to see the fruits of our labor reflected in our amazing Gartner Magic Quadrant result.*
