Below, we have laid out our recruitment process for gaining a training contract with Taylor Wessing.
The Vacation Schemes are a great opportunity to get a first sense of life at the firm and a flavour of the work and people you’ll be working alongside. Our Spring and Summer Vacation Schemes are the only way to be considered for a training contract position at the firm. To be eligible, you'll need to be in the penultimate year of your degree or beyond.

Stage 1: Application formYou'll be required to submit an online application which details your work and education history, a covering letter, and you'll also need to answer some competency questions. We work with Rare Contextualised Recruitment, so every application we receive is looked at in context. |

Online assessments top tips

Stage 2: Online assessmentAfter screening your online application you'll be required to complete an online assessment. Once completed, you'll be notified as to whether you will be moving forward to stage 3 of our process. |

Written exercise top tips

Stage 3: Written exerciseOnce you have completed the application and online tests, you may be invited to complete an online written exercise. This exercise is designed to assess your analytical, commercial and written communication skills. Following the written exercise, you'll be notified as to whether you have been successful in gaining a place at our assessment centre. |

Assessment centres top tips

Stage 4: Assessment centreTaking place between January and March, the assessment centre is the final stage of our process. The assessment centre consists of two exercises - a commercial awareness exercise and a competency-based interview. Both provide an opportunity for you to show your commerciality, relevant to a career at Taylor Wessing, along with your motivations and the skills you have for a successful career with us. |
Once completed, you'll be notified as to whether you have been successful in gaining a place on the Vacation Scheme.
