Clifford Chance is one of the world's leading law firms, offering local and global clients expert advice on all aspects of commercial law. The firm has unrivalled scale and depth of legal resources across five continents and seven practice areas.
In 2020 we'll be running one two-week Summer Vacation Scheme for penultimate year students. If your application for a place is successful, you'll benefit from an unparalleled introduction to the world of commercial law, undertaking classroom based learning alongside work experience in a practice area.
Our Vacation Scheme provides a unique insight into what your career with our firm could look like, prior to securing your Training Contract.
Our two-week Vacation Scheme is designed for penultimate-year students. You'll benefit from an unparalleled introduction to the world of commercial law, undertaking real work and interacting with people at every level of our business. You'll work with lawyers experienced in one of our practice areas.
You'll also have the support of a supervising lawyer and a trainee 'buddy' who you can turn to at any stage.
It's a unique learning experience. We'll expect you to be hungry to learn, open to new challenges and eager to build new networks. We'll also give you full access to our facilities (including the swimming pool, restaurant and fitness centre).
Most importantly, you could be taking your first step towards commencing a Training Contract with us.
Increasingly, we are looking for STEM students to join us as the law is not what it used to be. New technology will shake up our sector and revolutionise it, as it has for most other major sectors of the economy. The speed of change will only get faster. That’s where you come in.
You'll receive a weekly salary of £450 and should you require any financial assistance with travel or accommodation, then please contact the graduate recruitment team.
