Back-end Developer

The role

We are looking for an experienced Back-end developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for the server side of our web applications.

The role of this person is to design and develop a robust, scalable, secure micro-services architecture, for our web based applications.

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible for the design and creation of scalable software
• Writing clean, functional code for back-end application
• Testing, finding and fixing bugs or other coding issues.

As a Back-end developer, you’ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

About you

You should be familiar with agile methodologies and have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones.

You should also:

• Have some experience as a back-end developer
• Experience developing microservice based applications on Kubernetes
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Knowledge and experience of:
  • Back-end frameworks: RabbitMQ, Memcached, Elasticsearch.
  • Languages:  C#, Java, Python, Django
  • JavaScript frameworks: Angular, React, Node.js
  • Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB
  • Web servers: Apache/Nginx/Tomcat
  • Front-end languages: HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, IT Architecture, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or Web Development.
