The post-holder will have the following primary responsibilities:
Design and deliver modern, appealing and effective user experiences and interfaces.
Develop quality software solutions for new and existing customers.
Work with system architects to design and produce highly usable software systems.
Develop code and data artefacts that adhere to the coding standards of the company.
Provide accurate and timely estimates of the development work required for new projects.
Create and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation to support all work.
Use the company’s systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date online records of activities.
Work with colleagues to prepare and publish via the Project Manager a weekly summary report of the development status of all ongoing work.
Maintain a current knowledge of best practice and emerging technologies.
Undertake any other tasks as may be reasonably requested.
The post-holder will be an enthusiastic and proficient web developer who is keen to improve their knowledge and experience in the industry. We are especially interested in hearing from new and recently-qualified graduates in any relevant discipline, ideally with some experience in .NET or PHP web development and an active interest in IT, particularly in web technologies and coding. The post-holder should be able to demonstrate some or all of the following experience and attributes:
Experience developing online and mobile applications using industry-standard tool
Ideally in a Scrum/Agile environment using Team Foundation Server.
Some experience of developing and deploying applications to hosted IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networks, security and authentication).
Experience in liaising with and reporting to customers and internal stakeholders would be useful.
Some exposure to working with overseas customers and projects would be a bonus.

Qualifications required for this role are as follows:
Computing-related Bachelor’s degree.
A-Level or equivalent: at least one of Maths/Physics/Chemistry/Computing.
GCSE or equivalent: At least 5 at grade A*-C, including Maths and English Language.
