About The Role

Working as your partner, we provide electronic warfare operational support, cyber security, information management, digital forensics and training support to military operations business.

If you are then this role could be for you. MASS, a defence technology company, are looking for a self-motivated and proactive software developer to join our expanding software team. This role can be based at either Lincoln and St. Neots and candidates interested in working from both locations are encouraged to apply.

You will contribute to the design and development of software products and projects which will be varied but are likely to include simulation/modelling tools and information systems in the domains of Electronic Warfare and Cyber Security. The successful candidate will be required to hold security clearance to at least SC level and will have a minimum of two-three years of industry experience.

A background in mathematics and simulation would be advantageous and you will be experienced with the Windows O/S and programming in at least two of C++, C# or Java. You should have some familiarity working with both agile and waterfall methodologies where appropriate.

In addition, it would be advantageous but not essential to be knowledgeable in some of the following: Unix, SQL, Agile, Waterfall, NetBeans, Visual Studio, IntelliJ, Test Driven Development, Model Base Engineering, Subversion, JIRA, MySQL, Oracle, ESRI, Defence and Computer Simulation.

This role is for 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday based in Lincoln, offers a competitive salary plus company benefits and good career progression.
