About The Role

Are you newly graduated with a STEM degree and looking to start your career with a company that will support your development and provide you with exciting work opportunities? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Modelling Engineer/Scientist based at our Lincoln site.

Working as your partner, we provide electronic warfare operational support, cyber security, information management, digital forensics and training support to military operations business.

All new graduates are included on the 12-month company Graduate Talent and Development Programme, supporting your personal development in addition to your technical training, to provide you with the skills to build your career at MASS.

Due to the clearance requirements for this role, you must be eligible to undergo and maintain enhanced UK government security clearance.

The Opportunity.

You will be expected to provide specialist technical analysis and simulation model development of Electro-optic and RF sensors. The tasks will require you to master graphical and non-graphical programming environments, utilising skills and experience in research, mathematical modelling, develop signal processing elements of complex systems, simulation and analysis.

After initial training and guidance, the role will provide you with exciting opportunities to be involved in weapon systems analysis, threat vulnerability analyst and countermeasures development, for key customers of MASS. You will be required you to work with key customers, being part of a small team of analysts, to meet their requirements.

What we are looking for?

If you already have experience of being able to program in MATLAB or an equivalent program, then this would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided. You should possess the ability to process and analyst large and complex data sets from multiple sources, along with excellent communication skills to support delivering a high-quality service.
