We are seeking an enthusiastic graduate to become a trainee Technical Sales Engineer. Initially they will receive training in the design and application department, learning about the product range, selection software, understanding how to interpret and produce construction drawings, use CRM, analyse industry information from ABI Barbour and be required to conduct a comprehensive sales training course. This is to prepare them to be able to move into a field sales role whereby they will be expected to promote Monodraught’s product range to Consultants, Contractors and End Users. This will involve developing a structured and targeted sales plan, actively investigating new opportunities, delivering CPD presentations and generating enquiries via customer visits. Extensive use of CRM is required including utilising the ABI database and liaising with clients throughout the entire specification and design process.
The role would ideally suit a candidate who has a degree or above in mechanical engineering, building services or a construction discipline and is keen to work in the construction sector. Although the role will initially be office based, once training is completed the role will move to field based.
