Project Controls Graduate

Save to shortlist Saved to shortlist Apply now

We are STRABAG, we are TEAMS WORK. If you want to be part of a successful team, then apply now.

Strabag is recruiting graduates looking for a career in Project Controls Management where they will work and develop within the key functions, Project Controls, Estimating, Planning and Risk Management, in the delivery of large civil engineering and construction projects.

You will join a cohort of graduates learning about the advanced techniques and methods used to manage projects. At STRABAG, we deliver the largest construction projects worldwide and your role will be working in the tendering and execution of them.

We want diversity in thought at STRABAG and welcome applications from a variety of academic qualifications. We need you to be passionate about data and providing insight to the project team and enable effective decision making.

At STRABAG we will invest in you and we would like you to complete the APM qualifications as part of your training as well as other courses that will help you to develop.

We will provide a mentor who will support you in the role on the projects you work on. Together we will review your progress and help you to get the guidance and training that you need to ensure you are successful in your role.

We have several large projects in the UK and, we would like to give you the opportunity to work overseas as part of your rotations in project controls. Ideally you would be flexible in your ability to work in different locations, but this isn’t a prerequisite.

Every 6-12 months we will rotate you into different roles within the business. These could be in project execution, tendering and business operations.

The project control, estimating, planning and risk management functions overlap significantly and there are a lot of common skills, but they are also quite different. You will experience a variety of challenges in your role, and we want to develop well rounded professionals that can take a management role on our major projects in 3-5 years.

So, if you are interested in data, and using that data to provide insight to manage projects we think you will really enjoy this graduate scheme at STRABAG and a career in megaprojects.

(This means that we will supply feedback if requested after an interview.)
