Lymington Shores is a mixed-use development comprising over 300 residential units, rowing club and restaurant for Redrow Homes. Simpson were responsible for the civil and structural engineering design, which included reinforced concrete frame to accommodate a two-storey car par, which in turn supported load bearing masonry apartments above, as well as design of the on-site infrastructure and below ground drainage system.
This 30,000 sqft private country residence, built for a private client, was granted Planning Approval under PPG3, which allowed the creation of houses of exceptional architectural interest within the green belt.
We have been an integral part of J D Wetherspoon’s expansion programme, both as part of a Design and Build team and direct for the client. Projects usually involve fairly extensive structural alterations to town centre retail premises carried out to very tight timescales and budgets.
We have worked for the trust for many years on projects ranging from new build to alterations and maintenance of their ageing estate. We currently have a framework agreement with the Trust.
