The Mechanical Equipment Group within KBR consists of a highly motivated and experienced team of Mechanical Engineers.

As a group we have extensive experience and a proven track record in both onshore and offshore Oil, Gas and Petro-Chemical facilities. Our scope of work ranges from the theoretical design and specification of equipment in the early stages of a project, through supplier manufacturing, concluding with construction, hook-up, and commissioning.

The Mechanical Equipment Group is responsible for of a wide range of equipment including; Compressors, Gas Turbines, Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, and Mechanical Handling. The Mechanical Equipment Group puts our hard won knowledge to use in worldwide project teams that advise our clients on the design, operation and construction of some of the world’s Largest Oil, Gas and Petro-Chemical projects.

At the heart of projects

The Mechanical Equipment Group has played an integral part in many large offshore projects in various locations in all areas across the globe.

As part of the overall project team, the Mechanical Equipment Group has been integral to the successful implementation of all of KBR’s Hydrocarbons projects, and has earned a reputation as an industry leader and for execution excellence.

We are looking for the right graduates to work alongside seasoned professionals, with the aim to develop you to become the future designers and technical lead engineers of the future.

Engineers working in the Mechanical Equipment Group are often offered opportunities to work abroad and to travel, whether to a fabrication yard, site or to visit vendors. The nature of the work is global.

As accredited members of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers MPDS Scheme, Graduate Engineers work towards achieving chartered status and are fully supported and encouraged by more senior colleagues and mentors.
