We have an opportunity for a Graduate Hardware and RF Engineer to join our SATCOM team in Tewkesbury.  You will be part of a new team being hands designing our brand new microelectronic system for our satellite communications business.

Graduate Hardware & RF Engineer responsibilities

  • Design and development of embedded systems for Honeywell’s airborne Satellite communications products, including airspaces of the future and unmanned aviation: UAV, UAS.
  • Real-Time embedded Software development using C, C++, Python
  • Digital hardware, multi-layer PCB development including schematic capture and layout
  • FPGA design where appropriate.
  • Implement best practices to manage cost and risk in product development and product manufacturing


  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline e.g. Electronic/Software/Computer Science Engineering or time served experience in embedded, software or digital hardware design
  • Technical background in the design and development of real-time embedded systems, including microcontrollers, DSPs and programmable logic.
  • Experience of CAD or capture packages e.g. Altium, Mentor or MPLab
