We have an opportunity for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Elster Water Metering team in Luton. You will support our design engineers with ongoing NPI process developing various water meters (Volumetric, Solid State Electronic, Woltmann type bulk, single and multijet).

Graduate Electrical Engineer responsibilities

• Assist in testing and validation of NPI products.
• Assist Design Engineers during development of new sensor products and radio technologies. (e.g. ultrasonic measurement and inductive rotation sensing methods)
• Low power circuit design and carrying out technical reviews.
• Technical issue reporting and resolution
• Test equipment design and carrying out cost reduction redesigns

Qualifications

• Hold a Electronics or Physics related degree or above.
• Familiar with the use of common electronics lab equipment, e.g., DVM, Oscilloscope, soldering stations.
• Competent use of Microsoft office suite, especially Word and Excel.
• Attention to detail
