Job Overview

Lucchini Unipart Rail (LUR) has a fantastic opportunity for a Microsoft 365 Developer to help drive our digital transformation. We are seeking an individual who can work collaboratively with the broader business and deliver projects through utilising the full Microsoft 365 platform & Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities & Duties

• To be our Microsoft 365 champion and drive project delivery
• Develop, implement & maintain Power Platform solutions
• Maintenance and development of company SharePoint sites
• Drive the development of a cloud based environment while integrating with our IT department to operate a hybrid infrastructure
• Process data within Power BI to create business intelligence
• Collaborating with internal & external stakeholders to scope out and implement digital solutions
• Build & maintain Microsoft Azure cloud-based functionality 
• Migration of static data towards dynamic, database driven solutions 
• Writing code in Python, Javascript, CSS, HTML, JSON & REST APIs
• Documenting steps taken during project development to aid reproduction

About You

• Already have, or working towards appropriate Microsoft certification 
• Have experience of project delivery through utilising the Power Platform
• Comfortable scoping projects as well as presenting updates & demonstrations to key stakeholders 
• Happy to challenge tradition with a view to improve through digitalisation & innovation
• Where required, able to attend appropriate seminars, conferences & exhibitions to keep up to date with emerging industry trends & technology advances 
• An ability to clearly document steps taken during development in a clear and concise manner
• Able to apply logic to your work and be able to translate to those less familiar with digital terminology.
• Be capable of thinking analytically with an ability to solve problems using data
• Must keep abreast of the latest digital trends/innovations which could be of interest to LUR, with a view of how/why it could benefit the business
• Must have an enthusiasm & passion for continuous improvement & innovation

Qualifications & Key Skills

A minimum requirement of an appropriate degree at 2:1 or above in IT, computer science or related field, as well as the below:

• Proficient with the Microsoft 365 platform, including a comprehensive ability with Power BI & Power Automate
• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JSON & REST APIs
• Desirable certifications: Microsoft certifications including Microsoft 365, Power Platform or similar.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure would also be desirable
