The land speed record was broken in the summer of 2006 at the Bonneville Salt Flats. The 2.7 tonne vehicle was propelled to a speed of 350 mph by twin rail injection diesel engines, producing 750bhp each. The record still stands, years on. The talk will be delivered by JCB's Product Engineering Manager, David Hoyle.
