Leicester Motorsport & Karting Society (ULMK)

We are the home of motorsport at the University of Leicester, we are a small group of university students with a keen interest in motorsport and karting. We are open to all academic areas, and welcome all types of people into our Society.

We also represent the University at the annual British Universities Karting Championship (BUKC), as well as off-campus while away on trips.

The facts

We are the only motorsport-dedicated Society at the University of Leicester.

Recently awarded Silver accreditation by the student’s union for our efforts and achievements to-date.

Throughout the year we hold various socials, so expect race screenings, pub quizzes, bar crawls and other activities.

We run regular trips to local tracks. Winners receive medals, trophies & the occasional bottle of champagne.

We always enter teams into the British Universities Karting Championship.
