Software Developer - Immediate Start

We are looking for a new developer to join our team due to our expanding customer base and software products.

Our solutions are typically based on the Android mobile platform, with C# middle-tiers and SQL Server or Microsoft Dynamics CRM backends. You would be working within the team on maintaining and developing new features across our complete product range.

You will work with your colleagues to write code, review other people's work, go to the occasional meeting - basically implement a plethora of software solutions.

Your primary focus would be in the C# middleware tier, however, there would also be an opportunity to develop your skills in Android (Java and Kotlin), SQL, Microsoft CRM customisation with JavaScript, and web technologies such as Angular. We are a small team, and there will be a need to shift your focus as requirements change.

We also offer support in gaining appropriate professional accreditations and we provide an environment in which you can develop your software development skills in a variety of different areas.

On joining Raspberry Software we will guide you through our products and will support your learning of the tools, languages and technologies we use.

We start each day with a stand-up meeting to discuss progress and challenges as a team. You will then work with your colleagues to write code, review other people's work, go to the occasional meeting - basically implement a plethora of software solutions.

The role will be based in the office, although there will be opportunities to work remotely for one or two days a week. We recognise the challenges remote working presents and we use video and chat tools to ensure frequent communication between members of the team.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in C# development
• Experienced in client and server development
• Passionate about software development
• Capable of learning new skills quickly
• Friendly and trustworthy
• Understanding of the responsibility that comes with having access to sensitive data
• Able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form

It would be desirable to have:

• Experience of working in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform
• Experience of working in one of Java, Kotlin, JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience of working in .NET Framework
• Experience of working in a team
• Experienced in taking software through to delivery
• Experience of using Jira
• Experience of using Git Source Control
• Experience of Amazon Web Services
• Drive to constantly improve and optimise our software development processes
