We need this information so we can personalise the alerts you receive and the content in your Dashboard. If you upload your CV to Gradcracker, these details also help our employers find you in the database, and contact you if they’re interested.
We’ll never share your information with anyone other than our employers and the essential services we use (such as our Server and Mailchimp) to keep our site running properly.
By registering, you’re consenting for us to contact you for a number of reasons, including information about new services or alerts from employers, by email, in your Dashboard or via the Gradcracker App. But we promise it’ll always be interesting, relevant, and aimed towards helping you secure your ideal role.
You can update/delete your details and contact preferences in your Dashboard, or by contacting info@gradcracker.com.
We gather and store IP addresses for data protection reasons and to generate statistics, such as counting numbers of site visitors.
We partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. A cookie is a small piece of information (in the form of a text file) which is sent from our website server and stored on your computer. We use them for a number reasons, such as recording how long users spend on each page, or tailoring Gradcracker according to whether it’s your first visit or you’re a regular user. We also use Google Analytics to analyse our website traffic. Some of these results are made available to our employers, so they can see how well their job postings are performing for example. We use Mailchimp to deliver our emails. This is so we can correctly manage our database and collect aggregated statistics on open-rate and clicks. You can also update your email preferences in your Dashboard.
We use Catalyst2, an external server with industry best-practice security, to store our data. You can view their Privacy Policy here. In the unlikely event of a personal data breach, you will be notified within 72 hours of it happening.

Except where clearly stated, you’re not allowed to download, distribute or scrape any part of this website, but we do allow you to make copies for reading or browsing and you may also make permanent copies for your personal use.
Gradcracker does not accept any liability for the unauthorised use of photographs or images approved by employers for use on their company hubs or promotional banners/emails. Any fees arising from unauthorised use will be charged to the employer. Employers must therefore ensure that they have authorisation/licences for all approved photographs/images, with the exception of those photographs/images sourced by Gradcracker from a third party.
