I joined Engenuiti as a graduate to ensure I was in the best environment to continue my development as an Engineer in the crucial first years out of University. The quality of engineers and projects at the Practice provided an excellent environment to develop - giving me the opportunity to really develop my technical abilities across a real breadth of projects. I was also particularly drawn to their experience and expertise in timber design as I believe it's key to a more sustainable future, and accordingly a key ability for any aspiring engineer to learn.
The Practice also encourages involvement in managing projects from early on. I was involved in all aspects of designing structures across all design stages, across many different sectors and materials. This prepared me well for my Chartership, and the Practice further supported this with their dedicated programme for exam and interview preparation.
I joined back in 2017 for the above reasons, but I've stayed because I enjoy working here - the people I work with are great, and the projects are interesting, varied, and often have good social value.
