Mubashar holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering, MSc in Sustainable Electrical Power with Distinction, and currently, he is in the final stage of his PhD journey at Brunel University, London. His main areas of interest are power systems, Common Information Model (CIM), network data modelling, renewable energy integration, EV integration and smart power networks.
He has been with the College of Engineering, Design and Physical sciences at Brunel University London, as a researcher within the TDX-ASSIST project funded by EU Horizon 2020. This project focuses on the coordination of transmission and distribution data exchanges for renewables integration in the European marketplace.
In addition to his research work, Mubashar has taught several electrical engineering courses for different universities in London (undergraduate and graduate level), and has recently been involved as a teaching assistant in several courses at Brunel University London and Northeastern University London.
