Andy is Operations Director with Blake Clough Consulting, with overall responsibility for running the business.
As owner and Operations director, Andy has been responsible for overseeing the growth of the business from 2 people to now over 45, opening of 3 UK offices, one overseas office (in Dubai) and the company’s expansion into over 20 countries worldwide. As Operations director, Andy oversees all matters relating to the running of the business but specifically procedures, process, finance, security, quality, and tax. Over 3 years Blake Clough has gone from start up to 45 staff, based in over 7 countries.
As part of Andys role he has led the company to gain several new accreditations. These include, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO45003, Cyber Essentials and Cyber essentials + and Achillies UVBD silver.
Prior to Blake Clough, Andy was employed by Newcastle City Council and Barnsley Town Council as an instrumental brass teacher, as well as being responsible for leading various musical ensembles. Andy was also a successful freelance musician, as well as flugel soloist with the Grimethorpe Colliery Band.
Andy holds a BMus (hons) degree from the University of Huddersfield.
