Join us for a hands‑on experience where you’ll work alongside our Head of Sustainability & Inclusion and our Sustainability Site teams, to gain practical insight into how environmental standards shape real civil engineering projects across the UK.
Please note that this is a Paid Summer Placement based at our Hoddesdon Head Office.
About our role
Enhancing our Environmental Management System, with a focus on ecology processes and guidance
Supporting environmental data collection, analysis and reporting
Visiting live construction sites to see environmental and ecological standards in action
Researching emerging sustainability innovations, nature‑based solutions and systems‑level improvements
About you
Currently studying (or have studied) environmental science or management, ecology, sustainability, geography, or a related discipline
Are enthusiastic, curious, and able to think systemically about environmental challenges
Enjoy solving problems and approaching tasks with a proactive mindset
Communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and in person
Ideally you will hold a Full UK Drivers License
