Programme at a glance

Stanmore Design House

• Gain practical, technical, construction-led design skills:
  • Learn how architectural concepts are translated into detailed, buildable designs
  • Develop understanding of material selection, supplier capabilities, and technical performance
  • Work with 3D models, samples, and technical drawings
  • Support early-stage design solutions to meet Building Regulations, fire safety and client requirements
  • Attend site visits to understand buildability, sequencing, interfaces and installation challenges
  • Learn how to implement BIM in real-life projects
  • Co-ordinate with client technical teams
  • Learn how to engage with and integrate engineering calculations

Capstone project (final months):

Deliver a business‑improvement project with measurable impact; present outcomes to the executive team.
