Where will you be working?

At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. We don’t just build roads and bridges, we’re building a better future, creating lasting social value that gives back to the communities in which we work.

You’ll be joining our Highways Maintenance Team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

The successful candidate will enrol onto the Level 6 Civil Engineering Degree Apprenticeship, with one of our partner Universities.

Over 5 years, you will work towards a BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering, as well as working towards becoming qualified as an Incorporated Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Activities you may be involved in include:

• CAD design work
• Drafting scheme documents
• Construction site visits
• Liaison with local and public authorities

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• GCSE grade 4/C or above in Maths and English or equivalent and A Levels BBC minimum this must include Mathematics, and preferably a science subject or Geography (or equivalent level 3 qualification)
• Great communication skills and a willingness to learn
• A collaborative approach and a drive to make a difference
• An EU/UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
