Where will you be working?
At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK.

You’ll be joining our Civils projects team. We deliver specialist civil engineering for the private and public sectors across the UK, building strong relationships based on a collaborative approach.
This role will involve travel across multiple sites in the South West.
As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Assist in the design, planning and delivery of civil engineering solutions for water infrastructure projects
Support site investigations, surveys and assessments to inform design and construction decisions
Contribute to the preparation of technical drawings, specifications and reports
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers
Attend site visits to gain hands-on experience and understand construction methodologies
Assist in monitoring project progress, quality and compliance with health and safety standards
Support the identification and resolution of engineering challenges during project delivery
Learn how to manage subcontractors and suppliers, and contribute to procurement activities
Participate in risk assessments, method statements and environmental planning
You’ll be:
Learning how civil engineering principles are applied in real-world infrastructure projects
Developing technical knowledge in areas such as drainage, earthworks, reinforced concrete and pipeline installation
Building confidence in project coordination, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving
Supported by experienced engineers and mentors to help you grow into a future technical leader
