Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.  

We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Engineer to join us for an Industrial Placement year. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in Civil Engineering in the Water sector. 

What you'll be doing:  

This role will be a rotational placement and will give exposure to Civil Engineering, Project Management, scheduling, and site supervision. Other duties will include:

  • Support operational teams with maintenance and inspections of water infrastructure.
  • Contribute to projects by gathering data and preparing documentation.
  • Assist with health, safety, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Participate in customer engagement and help identify areas for process improvement.

What you'll bring

  • Currently studying Civil Engineering, Construction Project Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Controls and Automation
  • Great communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • A collaborative approach and a drive to make a difference
  • A driving licence and willingness to travel
