My name is Peter and I’m currently between BEng and MEng degrees studying Motorsport Engineering at Brunel University in London.
I am just finishing my 12 month industrial placement with Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, where I have been fortunate enough to work in the Test Department.
The wide variety of challenging tasks and complex projects combined with very tight timescales make this placement a perfect training ground for any student engineer who wishes to have a taste not just for engineering, but also for Formula 1.
Both the team atmosphere and structure will help anyone to fit in easily while receiving continuous support from colleagues. I would encourage anyone to apply as it is great opportunity with a great company working on the most complex part of a Formula 1 car.
