  • The Royal Air Force (RAF) is responsible for protecting the UK’s air and space capabilities from threats such as unauthorised aircraft, missiles and cyber attacks.
  • The RAF uses a combination of state-of-the-art static radar, mobile units, aircraft and satellites to gather minute-to-minute information on air activity.
  • Its Eurofighter Typhoons are ready to scramble to intercept threats at a moment’s notice, night or day, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
