PartB is a specialist fire consultancy dedicated to fire safety design, fire risk management, forensic fire engineering and fire safety training. We provide specialist advice and support necessary to reduce risk and improve fire safety standards across the industry. Established in 2020, we've gone from strength to strength and now have more than 50 employees with a host of disciplines, specialisms and skillsets. We are forward-thinkers, focussed on making our industry perform better, more safely and more transparently. We believe in building an open, supportive workplace that promotes happiness and wellbeing.
As a graduate fire engineer with PartB, you'll learn from some of the best in the business. You'll work directly under a technical director based in Gloucester and enjoy full support from the wider UK and Ireland team. It'll be hands on from the get go, as you deliver client projects, provide technical support and embark on your own learning and CPD. You'll also help develop the technical capability of the company, contributing to the consulting output and assisting with the overall development of the business - all the while working towards a great qualification with our full support.
We offer 27 days' holiday, plus bank holidays and right now are in the middle of a 12-month trial of the 9-Day Fortnight benefit - where you are gifted every second Friday off work. We also gift you the days between Christmas and NY off. You'll have a company credit card for expenses and will be immediately reimbursed for mileage. We're proud to be flexible working, allowing you to work your hours in a way that suits you. Your wellbeing is important to us so you'll have access to confidential 24/7 counselling, either over the phone or in person. Your spouse and your children (aged 16-24) may also make use of this free service. We offer a wide range of additional benefits to thank you for your hard work. These include:
At PartB we don’t do stuffy. We don’t do old school. And we don’t do regimented. We do a nice place to come to work, do your best and be rewarded. We’re committed to inclusivity and diversity, seeking the spark not the stereotype. Brilliance comes from different places and diversity makes us better.
