Taylor Airey was formed in 2015 by Directors Phil Taylor and James Airey with the aim to bring a professional, pragmatic, independent approach to our client’s challenges.  From our global headquarters in London, UK, we provide consulting, advisory and implementation support in a growingly diverse range of sectors for both public and private sector organisations throughout the transport industry.

The opportunity

Taylor Airey has an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our highly successful transport consultancy, providing consulting, advisory and implementation support in a growingly diverse range of sectors for both public and private sector organisations throughout the global transport industry.

We are investing significantly in our team to deliver our company vision and growth plan and are looking for people to help us deliver the exciting projects we are involved with.

You will be primarily based in London and can expect to be exposed to a wide variety of high intensity projects, spending a significant proportion of your time on client site alongside our team of world class engineers and consultants. The work will take you into a wide range of business environments from city offices to operational locations (airports, rail depots) and manufacturing sites.

Most of the work will be completed in the UK, but opportunities will present themselves to work abroad. Our diverse UK and overseas client base ensure the challenges we face never become monotonous and we thrive on the knowledge that our skills will be continuously tested and developed.

About you

We require candidates that;

  • have, or be expected to graduate with, a minimum of a 2.1 degree (or equivalent) in in an appropriate discipline;
  • are able to demonstrate a desire to build a career in the industry, and possess the key competencies to undertake the job;
  • can ‘hit the ground running’ so previous work experience is an advantage;
  • are familiar and competent with standard Microsoft Office programmes (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • show strong planning and organisation skills;
  • are able to analyse complex problems, identify potential solutions and present results in a clear and concise manner;
  • are personable and able to relate to, and communicate clearly and concisely with, a wide range of people;
  • are looking for a challenging but rewarding work environment where routine does not exist, and flexibility and innovation is encouraged; and
  • are eligible to work in the UK.

The package

A permanent position with £28,000 basic starting salary + £6,000 retention bonus (£3,000 after six months, £3,000 after two years), very generous bonus scheme, enrolment into Taylor Airey’s Group Pension Scheme, and other benefits.
