The Professional Services Job Family provides strategic, operational and specialist support across the NDA group. Roles in this family help the organisation make effective decisions, manage resources, support people and deliver business priorities.
This job family includes areas such as commercial and procurement, finance, people, communications, legal and business improvement. Together, these functions help the NDA group operate effectively and deliver its mission in a safe, secure, sustainable and cost-conscious way.
People teams play a vital role in ensuring the NDA group has the skills, capability and culture needed to deliver its mission now and in the future.
They support the attraction, development, engagement and wellbeing of a diverse workforce while helping create workplaces where individuals can thrive and perform at their best.
Working closely with leaders, employees, recognised trade unions and stakeholders, People professionals help shape organisational culture, develop future talent, support workforce planning and drive initiatives that improve inclusion, engagement and organisational effectiveness across the NDA group.
As a People Graduate, you will help support the people, culture and organisational capability needed to deliver one of the UK's most complex and nationally significant environmental missions.
Great organisations are built by great people. People professionals play a vital role in helping organisations attract, develop and support the talent needed to achieve their objectives. Through your placements, you will gain insight into how people-related decisions influence organisational performance, workforce capability and employee experience.
Working alongside experienced professionals and business stakeholders, you may contribute to activities across talent acquisition, learning and development, organisational development, employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, workforce planning, employee relations and people strategy. You will develop an understanding of how People teams support both employees and the wider organisation to achieve successful outcomes.
You could gain exposure to initiatives that support recruitment, talent development, leadership capability, organisational change and workplace culture. This breadth of experience will help you build a broad understanding of the People profession and the role it plays in supporting business performance and future workforce needs.
As part of this pathway, you will undertake the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Level 5 Diploma, helping you build the technical knowledge and professional skills needed for a career in People and Human Resources.
This pathway would suit individuals who are interested in understanding what helps people, teams and organisations succeed.
Whether your interests lie in talent acquisition, learning and development, organisational development, employee experience or workforce planning, this pathway will provide valuable experience supporting people and organisational success within a unique and nationally important industry.
Various UK Locations
The NDA group operates from more than 30 sites and office locations across England, Scotland and Wales. Applicants must be geographically flexible and willing to relocate to any of our sites to support business requirements and development opportunities across the programme.
Support is available to help graduates relocate where required.
Any offers will be conditional upon you providing proof of your right to work and passing security clearance and vetting checks.
Throughout your two-year journey on the NDA group graduates programme, you will be employed by Energus and complete two 12-month secondments within the NDA group.
At the end of the programme, we will support you to secure a role within the NDA group or within the wider nuclear sector, helping you take the next step in your career.

Face-to-face assessment centres will take place in early 2027. If you are invited to an assessment centre and are unable to attend, unfortunately you may be unable to complete the selection process.
