Trading for over 40 years, Hiden Analytical Limited is a manufacturer of mass spectrometers for vacuum, gas, plasma and surface science. Our mass spectrometers can be used for a wide range of applications. Some examples include lithium-ion battery development, fusion research and plasma treatment of polymers for medical applications. We also offer bespoke design services for client interactive development of solutions to meet specific requirements.

About Hiden Analytical
Hiden Analytical manufactures quadrupole mass spectrometers.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Graduate Sales Engineer, with a requirement to travel internationally.

Working Mon-Fri as part of our dynamic sales team you will be responsible for representing the company and our products within France, Italy, Spain and the Middle East initially.

You will need to work with local representatives to establish the customers’ requirements, promote the Hiden product range and maintain working relationships with existing clients.

Essentials

  • Background in science, ideally with a degree in physical chemistry or physics.
  • Willing to travel internationally. 
  • Good problem-solving ability. 
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Reliable and able to work to high standard of quality and procedures whilst maintaining deadlines required.
  • Proficient in IT and willing to learn new systems. 
  • Good comprehension and written skills, which will be necessary for understanding tender requirements and submitting tenders.
  • Good communication skills.

Desirable

  • Sales experience in a scientific environment.

  • Private health care – after 2 years of continuous service employees become eligible for our BUPA scheme.
  • Pension – Group Personal Pension Scheme through Aviva. Hiden will match up to 4% of gross basic pay.

Full training will be provided.
