Humber

ABP Humber contains four ports: Hull, Goole, Grimsby and Immingham. The Humber ports handle £75 billion worth of trade and support 33,000 jobs and employ more than 1,200 ABP employees.

Humber covers a broad range of cargoes, including energy, vehicles, roll-on roll-off, containers, bulks, liquid bulks and forest products. Immingham is the UK’s largest port by volume and Hull is home to the £310m Green Port Hull facility.

Southampton

Southampton is the UK’s number one vehicle handling port, Europe’s leading turnaround cruise port with millions of passengers annually, and the UK’s most productive container port.

The Port of Southampton supports 45,600 jobs and contributes £2.5bn to the nation’s economy every year. The port is the UK’s number one export port handling over £40bn of exports every year.

Wales & Short Sea Ports

ABP South Wales’ five ports support 15,000 jobs across Wales and contribute £1.4bn to the UK economy. ABP’s Short Sea Ports has eleven ports located in East Anglia, the South West, North West and Scotland, handling over 4 million tonnes of cargo every year.

The region handles a broad range of cargoes and offer hubs for renewable energy developments and port centric manufacturing.

Central

ABP’s Head Office is the central hub to the UK’s largest ports operator with a network of 21 ports around Britain. ABP handle around one quarter of the UK’s seaborne trade and contribute £7.5 billion to our economy every year.
