Graduate Project Manager/Process Coordinator

About the role:

As a Graduate Project Manager/Process Coordinator, you will support projects, business processes and transformation activities that improve operational performance and deliver better outcomes for customers and colleagues.

What you will be doing:

  • Support projects or defined workstreams from planning through delivery.
  • Maintain project plans, milestones, actions, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Coordinate meetings, record decisions, and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Prepare clear progress updates, dashboards, and governance information.
  • Create and maintain process maps, operating procedures and supporting guidance.
  • Monitor process performance, service levels, and controls, escalating concerns when needed.
  • Use data and feedback to identify delays, duplications, waste and improvement opportunities.
  • Help teams prepare for new systems, products, processes and ways of working.
  • Maintain readiness plans, checklists and action trackers.
  • Support communications, training materials and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Identify readiness risks and help confirm that teams are prepared for implementation.
  • Track transformation outcomes, benefits and adoption.
  • Learn and apply Six Sigma, including process mapping and root cause analysis, to support continuous improvement activities.
  • Use the DMAIC approach and business data to identify problems, recommend improvements and measure their impact.

What are we looking for:

  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing activities and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across different teams.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate information.
  • A proactive approach to following up actions and resolving problems.
  • The flexibility to adapt when priorities or delivery plans change.
  • An interest in project delivery, process improvement and business transformation.
  • Willingness to learn Six Sigma and apply data-led improvement methods.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.

  • Projects, processes and readiness activities are organised and kept on track.
  • Actions, risks and dependencies are recorded, communicated and followed through.
  • Stakeholders receive accurate and timely information.
  • Improvement work is supported by evidence and contributes to measurable benefits.
  • You progress through the learn 6Sigma and take on greater responsibility as your experience develops.
