Graduate Façade Engineer

Job Description

At AESG we are looking for a Graduate Façade Engineer to support the growing External Wall Advisory division and work alongside our other specialist disciplines. The role will be to support the successful delivery of UK and international projects, working with project team Engineers and Senior Consultants throughout all project phases, whilst also including independent project management of complex design and construction projects, covering all aspects of Facade Engineering.

The role will also include accountability for client relationship management and development within the division. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating technical engineering solutions and a willingness to work across multiple large-scale projects.

Essential Skills:

• BSc or MSc in Façade / Building Surveying / Engineering or similar
• Experience working for or in a Façade Contractor and/or Consultancy is desirable
• Undertaking site survey work and subsequent report writing
• Inspection, design, and plan review for site inspection works
• Sound technical knowledge in Façade Design and Engineering within Residential, Commercial and Hotels sectors
• Understanding of façade engineering and interdisciplinary design 
• Engaging in the implementation and maintenance of the IMS and its processes and in achieving expected outputs
• Able to take a brief from the project lead and deliver & control the tasks required, within time and budget
